Fav Song Right Now: Just Chillin' It

Is anyone else a country music fan out there? I'm a die hard country fan. I always have been. Even in high school when all we cared about was how hard we could make our trunks rattle with our bass. Of course back then I liked rap a lot too, but I never could leave my country roots, even when my friends would laugh or joke about the twang making their ears bleed. I grew up on country and my kids are too. This week though I have had a new country song stuck in my head. The title is so cheesy. I'm positive that you won't ever catch me saying it (unless I'm singing it). But here it is for you to enjoy. I got it off of YouTube. Its not an official video. Just Chillin It by Cole Swindell
Pretty catchy, huh? Go ahead, listen to it again. You know you want to. Well, what did you think?

These are a Few of my Favorite Things #4

Hey everyone. Its that time again. Time for me to tell you all about my favorite thing of the week. My favorite thing of the week doesn't even belong to me. Its the kids' toys.
Beyblades.
They will seriously play with them for hours. I'm not sure how many of you know what they are. Basically its a top with a rip cord. They have a plastic "stadium" that you can put 2 or more in so they can "battle". There is a Beyblade TV show, but we don't watch it. And I'm sure there are rules and specific ways to play. But my kids just "rip" theirs at the same time and see whose stops first.
It doesn't really sound that awesome. But like I said, it keeps them occupied forever. That's why Beyblades are my favorite product of the week. With the hubby being home sick all week and trying to pack, I'm going nuts! And any time I can get without having to occupy them myself is greatly appreciated. The Beyblades are recommended for 8 years and up. Maybe because you have to put them together or because of how you are supposed to "battle" them. I'm not completely sure, but my 7 year son and 4 year old daughter play with them. If they were to come apart after you assemble them, they would pose a choking hazard.
Well thanks for stopping by and come back soon.

These are a Few of My Favorite Things: #3

Hello everyone! Hope you have had a good weekend so far.
In keeping with my new tradition, I'm going to tell you about my favorite thing this week. This week it is...
Drumroll please.
COLGATE SENSITIVE enamelprotect toothpaste
I have always been a Colgate user anyway. But when I was at the dentist, my doctor gave me a sample of the sensitive kind. I love it. In just 5 days of using it, I can tell a difference. I have way less sensitivity to cold and hot. Now, I guess it very well could be a mind over matter thing but whatever. As long as its working for me I'm going to keep on using it. :)
Well everyone. Thanks for stopping by and come back soon.

And if you have sensitive teeth, try this stuff.

These are a few of my favorite things... #2

Hey all! This week my favorite thing is... Dun-ta-da-da!
Ibuprofen! I dont care what brand. Motrin, Advil, Dollar General generic, whatever. Ibuprofen has saved my life this week. I got a tooth pulled on Monday and now I have dry socket. Its extremely painful, even for me. So needless to say, I have been eating ibuprofen every 4 hours like clockwork.
And how stupid I have been! All these years, I've just suffered through pain thinking that its not unbearable so I don't need meds for something as minute as a headache. It will pass. Wth? I only took ibuprofen when I gave birth to my 9lb 3oz little Banana and had my tubal! And nothing when I had Monkey (7 years ago today) :) I must have been crazy.
So anyway, my fave thing this week is definitely IBUPROFEN!
As always thanks for stopping by and come back soon.

These Are a Few of my Favorite Things

Admit it. You totally sang the title. I sure did. Nothing like some 1959 Julie Andrews to embrace the weekend. Yay, weekend! What a great time to kick back, relax and reflect on the week. So this week I am going to start something new. Every weekend I am going to share my favorite things of the week with you.
This week my ABSOLUTE favorite thing is...
Coffee-mate Peppermint Mocha Creamer
YUMMY! It's the perfect start to a crisp fall morning. I just finally found it stocked at WalMart last night. I always wish that they sold it year round in my area. But somehow I know that if I could access it all the time, I wouldn't appreciate it nearly as much.
