Do you ever have stumble across something that you just know is going to have a lasting impact on you? Well that happened to me today.
I was searching the web for a pogo stick for Monkey. That's what he wants for his birthday. And believe me, its not easy to find in stores in October. So I took to the web to search. All the department stores have them. Online. So now I'm going to have to get it for him late.
Anyhoosen. I got off the subject for a second.
So I'm trolling the web for a pogo stick. I check WalMart, Kmart, Target and ToysRUs. And somehow while on ToysRUs' website I stumble upon the coolest thing...
They have a whole search experience devoted to "Differently Abled" children. Don't you just love that phrase? I sure do. You can click on a category such as language, auditory, fine motor skills, etc., and you'll get a whole list of toys tailored to your "differently abled" child's needs. You can't tell me that's not super awesome.
I am completely in love with the phrase "differently abled". How wonderful it is to focus on children's
special abilities rather than their needs. So on that note... Way To Go TOYS R US!
As always, thanks for stopping by and come back soon.

These are the totally random thoughts of a family gal. You will read about me, my family, mom stuff, woman stuff, book stuff. My friends say I have no filter, so if something strikes me as interesting, you'll know about it.
