Big Girl vs. Zumba

Hahaha! I just got done with Zumba. You know, the weight loss craze that's been sweeping the nation? Well, I guess I got swept up too. And all I can say is... HILARIOUS!. Not the class. Me. Now, I'm a big girl. And not just any big girl. No. I'm a big girl with just barely enough coordination to walk and talk at the same time. And let me tell you the only thing funnier than an uncoordinated girl trying to dance all sexy, is a big ole girl with no rhythm or coordination trying to dance all sexy. AKA: me. I mean I was a hot mess. Thank goodness we were in the back of the room. At one point Carmen even said to me, "Dude. We're gonna have to work on your dancing." But it was a good time and I'm going to go back. My biggest fear of going has always been the initial humiliation, but I already conquered that. Ha. And I met a really nice and super energetic woman there. Actually she saw Carmen and me in the gym and invited us downstairs to the class. So big thanks to the kind stranger who helped me conquer a fear today! And Carmen too!
